LEC donates a tree to FOT

Several Laurel Exchange Club members with the help of several local businesses donated a fully decorated tree and gifts to the Family Tree Center’s annual event, the Festival of Trees. The theme was Patriotic / Field of Flags and decorated the whole tree in red, white and blue. The tree went for $600 at auction.

Alongside decoration expenses, they received around $600 in donations for the gifts that went under the tree. They want to recognize and thank High Plains Brewing, Plantasia and Harmony Coffee Bar & Boutique for everything they donated. The Laurel Exchange club plans on doing a tree for the Family Tree Center every year and hope for further support from Laurel businesses.

All funds raised during the Festival of Trees went to the Family Tree Center. Prevention of child abuse center that is funded by the local Exchange Clubs of Yellowstone County. They do childcare and parental education to eliminating child abuse in the area.
